Good day!

Today was a really great day! I had breakfast with my family and then I went bowling with some friends! Even though I am horrible at bowling I really do enjoy it, especially with friends because we just laugh at each other!
Today was also an interesting day because I talked with my mom and she is going to let me drive to Orlando by myself on Tuesday to stay with some friends at a resort. I am excited about going but kind of nervous to drive so far by myself! It is the biggest step I have taken so far to becoming independent! I don't know how I will keep busy for 3 hours....I will probably just listen to some music and maybe a book on tape! So thats about all for now..wish me luck!! L3

You will do just fine, Whitney, on your drive and I bet you anything that you will just love it!!! You are becoming independent and part of me does not like it one bit, but it is life and that's the way it is. I want to do something with you - just me and you - before you leave for college. You have always been very special to me - my dear Goddaughter - and I want time for just the two of us before you go, okay?

Whitney, Thanks for your kind comment on Paintbox. I enjoyed browsing your web page. You have a good eye for photography and I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Good luck on your trip and Stay Awake during your drive!

Your photos are beautiful. Have fun on your ride, no speeding now. Some good tunes and you'll be all set. Did you go to one of the parties for the release of the new "twilight" book? I didn't since I'm still working on the second one. Figured I'll wait for the paperback to come out.

Wish you luck for driving - I remember my fist longer ride with a car (two hours). I went from Vienna to Linz, about 150 miles, and the highway was full of construction sites with very narrow lanes - oh my God I was frightened. But I survived and some months later we drove with mylittle car to Denmark and lived in an old mill for 3 weeks.
It was great fun!
Wish you all the best!

Colourful picture! Bright and gay! Reminds me of the Impressionists. Gogh and Renoir and Pissaro
