Tropical Storm Fay has been over us since last night. School is canceled for today.....there have been tornado warnings all day....and there were actually two tornadoes last night about a mile away from my house....cable went out......thank god we still have power though.....it has been raining non stop-I think we got over 6 inches already.....I am stuck in the house all day....conclusion....I really hate hurricane season...L3

Oh Whit - you know hurricane season is fun!!! It's exciting. It brings out the best or worst in people. It's a time to relax with family and friends and a time to not be rushing around. You needed a day of rest and today was the day!!
Here in the northwest, we are always glad we don't have to deal with tornados and hurricanes. We have earthquakes, but they come without warning, no we just don't worry about it.

Good to see that it didn't hit you guys too hard. I've been checking in with my sister quite a bit, it's just hovering over Daytona! At least they don't have alligators swimming down their streets, right?
We dont have them here, hope everything gets ok soon.
